Description

The main shortcoming of the interior we found was a long, narrow inner corridor serving all the rooms and at the same time separating them from each other. This corridor was dark and overwhelmed by the number of doors (nine).
All our work was geared towards changing this situation. In the new design, we first of all opened up the entrance part of the corridor to the living room and the kitchen. We managed to reduce the excessive number of doors to 1. !!! (the entrance door) and their functions were taken over by sliding wall sections, the largest of which measures 4,5m by 2,7m! We used three colours, dark grey, which was applied to the untouched elements of the interior, warm yellow, which marks the private part of the residents, and sprinkled white filling the remaining space. These three colours are matched by a dark brown wooden floor and a fluffy carpet of the same colour. Connected to the interior is a terrace made of pine wood, which has been transformed into a bench on one side, and an openwork partition from the neighbour's side on the other. An outdoor fireplace and barbecue are sunk into this partition. The only intentionally untouched interior is the children's room, although it too has a piece of its own private space (the yellow wardrobe).
