Plot

The house was built on a diamond-shaped plot of land descending toward the lake. During the process of obtaining the conditions for development, it turned out that only 1/4 of the land can be used for buildings. As mentioned, the plot slopes toward the lake, so we decided to flatten the part of the plot on which the house is to be built, and the reinforced concrete retaining wall surrounding this flattening will have soft lines, resembling the shoreline of the lake.

Materials

The house is designed in a wooden structure covered with anodized aluminum corrugated sheet. We were inspired to use this material by numerous examples of hangar buildings built to store water equipment. This house is just such a hangar. It should be mentioned that aluminum sheet has a lot of advantages, it provides excellent protection from water and wind, is very easy to maintain, and perfectly radiates heat, resulting in a temperature similar to that of the air on hot days.

Lump

The house has been divided into three parts. The one closest to the lake, parallel to the side boundaries of the plot, includes the living area with a covered terrace, main entrance, technical area and toilet. Into this body penetrates the next part of the house, which contains a study, located right next to the living area, and sleeping rooms. Into this private part is tucked a third block with a children's bathroom and guest room, located just behind it, and a large hangar for swimming equipment, accessible only from the outside. This last block is set perpendicular to the street. The site itself is mainly a meadow, where we planned to plant fruit trees.
