Idea

The plot on which the project of this office building has been created is located in Marcelin, near one of the most important "gates" to the city, Ławica Airport. It is included in the local plan, with strictly defined obligatory building lines, building surface, and the number of storeys. Its characteristic feature is also its shape, a seam. All these parameters caused that the optimal plan of the building, which gave us the possibility of rational and logical use of the space, was the above-mentioned shape of the plot, i.e. the shape of a rhombus with two patios lighting the office runs.

Facades

We transferred the dynamics of this projection to the façade, skewing most of its finishing elements at the same angle as the projection. The building is located at a distance from the city centre, which allowed us to use wood on two of the façades, a material that is alien to compact urban development. The other materials are graphite-coloured aluminium light-breakers, and exposed concrete.
