SPACE: m²
STATUS: completed

This is a residential building filling a geometrically complicated plot of one of the quarters of Poznan's Jeżyce. Only in one place this plot connects with Dabrowskiego Street by a narrow fragment. The development conditions provided for allowing a building with the height of the tenements from Dabrowskiego Street, but in the depth of the quarter lowered it to the height of the ridge of the school buildings.

Due to a change in the Construction Law at the time of the project's creation, we could not connect the building with the gable wall of one of the neighboring tenement houses - after careful plot delineation, it turned out that the building at 60 Dabrowskiego Street does not stand in the plot boundary. We took this as an excuse to give a slight view from the street into the plot and into the green landscape of plant terraces piled there.

The building fills the quarter by connecting several gable walls of neighboring houses, enclosing courtyards and creating its own inner green courtyard. The individual floors of the building's wings forming the courtyard have been shifted so that as much sunlight as possible enters it. Each of the faults and the flat surfaces created by them have been filled with greenery.
